ITINERARI DEL GUSTO

ROADS TO TRAVEL WITH GUSTO
….discovering unexpected combinations!
Wineries, villas, and the incredible epic of the codfish, the typical Vicentino dish. A combination of flavors, scents and traditions of Vicenza.
Bacchus in Villas and ancient crafts
The charm of the villa lifestyle is combined with the thrill of a guided tasting of different wines.
A tour to discover the northern part of the Vicenza territory, to appreciate the discovery of the high quality wines at its foothills. After a tasting experience in a Villa we’ll get you to visit some local artisan workshops: the ancient mallet of Breganze, a colourful pottery workshop, a laboratory of tissue, the Museum of straw hats in Marostica. And finally …shopping in Bassano del Grappa!

THE WINE ROAD ON THE BERICI HILLS
A food and wine tour from the plains to the hills. Starting from Vicenza we’ll go through a path on the Berici hills, and we’ll visit the Villas where we can taste some traditional products.
An old wine tradition characterizes the hills that stretch southwest of Vicenza. The area is famous not only for the production of the Tai Rosso, but also for the D.O.C. extra virgin olive oil, for the typical black truffle and for sausages (the “sopressa Vicentina DOC” and the Berico-Euganeo ham), for cheese, honey and other products, all to enjoy. A hike through nature, art and flavors.

THE DURELLO AND RECIOTO ROAD
Two ancient streets, two historic wines, two destinies that intersect along mythycal paths between the provinces of Vicenza and Verona. The way of Recioto extends along the lower valley of the Chiampo river, in the western area of Vicenza. It’s a land of volcanic origin that includes the towns of Gambellara, Montebello, Montorso and Soave.
The Road of the Durello is located at the foothills of the Dolomites, between the villages of Montecchio Maggiore, Montebello, the Lessinian hills and Soave. An opportunity to discover a territory at some points almost wild, where to find ancient fossils (in Bolca) and Palladian villas (Villa Porto in Montorso, Villa Cordellina in Montecchio Maggiore).

THE ROAD OF TORCOLATO WINE OF BREGANZE
The Road of the Torcolato Wine of Breganze winds through the foothills between the valleys of the rivers Brenta and Astico, within the Breganze Doc area. A path through walled towns (Marostica), ancient Castles (Thiene), Palladian Villas (Godi Malinverni) and charming villages (Bassano). Colors and flavors are able to give evocative synesthesia to our senses .
